Schmid / Widmaier studio developed a new series of smart city guides for Callwey Verlag and Lufthansa.The travel guides  feature walks through the city districts, interviews with prominent insiders, plus exclusive tips from frequent Lufthansa employees, lots of maps, and other exciting features to discover.

A pastel, muted, and reduced colour palette, paired with a geometric shapes whose volume is expressed only by light texture reminiscent of retro poster aesthetics.
The greatest challenge of this project was to create highly simplified icons of popular cultural landmarks and other destinations in a very limited colour palette.
